Do you remove previous hairstyles & wash hair?

We do not remove hairstyles but we do offer wash + blowdry service as an add on for all of our services. You can add them directly to your appointment using the service page.

Am I allowed to bring a friend? 

No guests are allowed to accompany you to your appointment at the moment. The only exception to this is children.

When is the best time to book if I have an event to go to or plan on traveling?

Always try to book 1-2 weeks in advance to avoid disappointments. Keep in mind our monthly calander is opened on the 23rd of each month.

Do you do single braid touch ups?

We only refresh braids that are 1 month old or less, anything more than a month and they have to be completely redone.

Which hair do you use for braiding?

Right now we prefer to use 52" 3-in-1 pre-stretched expression hair. If you already purchased non pre-stretched hair prior to your appointment then you must  drop off the hair at least 2 days before your appointment. If you show up on the date of your appointment with non pre-stretched hair we will have to reschedule your appointment to a later date.

For wig/weave installations does my unit need to be dropped off before my appointment?

Yes! all units for wig & weave appointments need to be dropped off at least 2 days before your appointment in order for them to be customized.

What if I am unhappy with my hairstyle?

Here at SBK it is a priority for us to ensure your satisfaction! If you are unhappy at all with your hairstyle please let us know right away and we will try our best to address your concerns so that you can leave satisfied with the service that you received. If we try to fix it and you are still unsatisfied and have to take out the hairstyle on the same day we will offer you a 50% discount for the inconvenience.

PAYMENTS & REFUNDS

Do you do refunds, returns, or exchanges?

Right now we only offer refunds in special circumstances, if you are unhappy with a product or service please contact us through the contact page on our website or on instagram.

What payment methods do you accept?

All payments are processed on our website through Visa, Mastercard, or Paypal.

Do you accept deposits or partial payments?

Yes! For appointments you can either pay in full on the website or you can leave a 50% deposit through the website checkout process and then the remaining 50% balance will be due in cash at the time of your appointment

CANCELATIONS, RESCHEDULING, & LATES

How much notice do I need to give if I need to cancel my appointment?

You must cancel your appointment at least 72 hours before your timeslot. As long as you cancel 72 hours in advance you will get a full refund, if you cancel within 72 hours of your appointment you will only receive a 50% refund. If you do not show up to an appointment and you don't give us any notice you will not receive any refund at all.

How much notice is required to reschedule an appointment?

To reschedule an existing appointment you must let us know at least 24 hours before your appointment so we can make the change in our system.

What if I am running late?

If you know you will be running late please let us know ASAP so we are aware. Once you are 20 minutes late there will be a $15 late fee added to your balance.
